Perceptions of Law Enforcement

Abstract

The different perceptions of law enforcement posed by people vary from their differences in background as well as previous interactions with law enforcement. This is being done to see how people perceive certain situations with law enforcement and how this has shaped their opinion of them. The point of this is to see if a person’s field of study causes them to either feel more positively or negatively about law enforcement. To get the different reactions a survey will be given to one hundred students to gauge the reactions to certain questions and fictitious situations based on law enforcement.
