Abstract
Mindfulness has gained recently increased notoriety; however, its positive effects go beyond mental health stabilization. Mindfulness has been shown effective in decrease rumination, stress reduction, boost working memory, increase focus, less emotional reactivity, increase relationship satisfaction, cognitive flexibility, enhanced insight, and decrease fear modulation. Evidence also suggested that mindfulness meditation has numerous health benefits including increase immune functioning. 1
