Abstract
Coccidioidomycosis often goes misdiagnosed as community-acquired pneumonia even in endemic areas. This article reviews the presentation, population at-risk, various testing options, and management guidelines for Coccidioidomycosis infection. Increased awareness among primary care providers is essential for this rising infectious disease.
