Abstract
This article describes a middle-aged man, with a history of coal workers pneumoconiosis (CWP) that presented to the family medicine clinic with abnormal white blood count and high eosinophilia. The work up for the high eosinophilia eventually confirmed the diagnosis of Strongyloides stercoralis in this asymptomatic patient. This article describes the presentation, diagnostic evaluation, criteria, treatment and prognosis of strongyloides infection.
