Objective: This review is an investigation of how Aripiprazole (Abilify) compares with other antipsychotics in tic alleviation of patients with a clinical diagnosis of Tourette’s Disorder (TD).

Design: The design is literature review.

Methods: Keywords: “Aripiprazole Tourette’s”. Done on PubMed, Cochrane, and TRIP

Results: There were three studies which met criteria for analysis; Sallee et al¹, Lyon et al² and Zheng et al³.

Conclusion: The systematic review further validates the use of Aripiprazole in the management of tics. Sallee et al¹matches it against placebo, and determines the safe and effective dose while Lyon et al²adds patients with comorbidities (OCD+tics, ADHD+tics,) to the cohort
