Abstract
Obesity and the Healthy Diet
ABSTRACT
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) states that the eighth edition of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans is based on the most recent research about diet and health but it was published in December 2015. There is much debate in the medical field about what is truly a healthy diet given the obesity crisis in the World. This article is the combination of a more recent search of the scientific research on whole-foods, plant-based diet and whether it is a truly healthy diet.
