Abstract
Tibial spine avulsion fractures (TSAF) are increasing in incidence in the pediatric population. The injury tends to be missed, often being diagnosed as a knee sprain after evaluation which may lead to subsequent sequelae. This article reviews the criteria for the evaluation and management of TSAF in skeletally immature patients.
