Abstract
Alcohol Use Disorder is a prevalent condition that costs the U.S. billions of dollars annually and leads to millions of deaths globally per year. While there have been advances in understanding this brain disease, it is still widely undertreated. Employing an outpatient protocol can increase the number of those affected who are able to receive treatment and should be used more often than it is currently.
