Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this article is to review the recent literature regarding the critical care presentation and management of COVID-19 by body system.
Method: Various large online journals were accessed and reviewed in order to organize the research based off of body system and the COVID-19 critical care management.
Results: The quantity of available research pertaining to the COVID-19 critical care management is quite sufficient due to the novelty of the virus and threat it has posed not only in the medical world, but society as a whole.
Conclusion: There are emerging data published daily regarding critical care recommendations for the COVID-10 patient by system. The goal of the review article is to provide a general overview highlighting the key takeaways for the recognition of common presentations in the ICU patient diagnosed with severe COVID-19.
