Abstract
Abstract:
Metacognition and the process of self-assessment is a neglected, albeit critical, concept that physician assistant (PA) students would immensely benefit from as a part of their PA education. The evidence is consistent and clear in regards to how substantial the act of metacognition self-assessment is to medical education and all healthcare students, no matter what discipline it is being considered utilization in. PA education is and should be a part of this valuable process.
