Abstract
Acute appendicitis is the most common abdominal surgical emergency in children. With rising healthcare costs and access challenges, alternative treatment options need to be further explored. This article examines the safe alternative option of antimicrobial management for uncomplicated appendicitis in children and its implications on future treatment guidelines.
