Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this article is to review Physician Assistant burnout and job dissatisfaction in the US healthcare system.
Method: A Google Scholar search was conducted with search physician assistant burnout and physician assistant job satisfaction. Three pertinent articles were retrieved and served as the basis for this clinical review.
Results: Burnout can result in damages to both the health care system and patient care.
Conclusion: Discovering insights that prevent burnout and promote engagement will be valuable not only for health care teams/providers, but also for society’s overall health.
