Abstract
Point-of-care ultrasound for physician assistants in emergency medicine is an area that requires greater development of training programs within the emergency department to better facilitate patient care. This area of practice needs proactive and deliberate advocacy at the national level to foster this to advance physician assistant care in this setting.
