Abstract
Elevated liver enzymes are usually an incidental finding on routine blood screening. Elevated liver enzymes are often due to metabolic, viral, or autoimmune causes. Further work-up with laboratory studies and imaging is necessary to determine the cause. This case demonstrates the importance of a proper work-up of a common finding.
