Abstract
ABSTRACT
Medical centers around the US are employing advanced practice providers (APPs) to provide access and high-quality care for patients. The loss of experienced APPs can be detrimental to these health standards, and lack of career advancement is a major contributor to APP attrition. Creating professional development models for APPs may provide significant return of investments. This article examines the correlation between implementing APP professional advancement programs and improved retention rates.
