Abstract
The global prevalence of mental health disorders, combined with ongoing dissatisfaction with conventional pharmacological treatment, has led to a renewed interest in psychedelics as an alternative treatment option. Clinical studies are promising on the effectiveness and safety of psychedelics in several conditions, including treatment-resistant depression and posttraumatic stress disorder.
