Abstract
Miscarriage is considered severe psychological distress and if not treated, in some cases can cause long-term mental health morbidities. Not much emphasis has been placed on the psychological consequences of this traumatic experience. Current medical guidelines do not include addressing the emotional responses of those affected women.
