Abstract
An increasing number of patients under the age of 50 are diagnosed with early-onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC). These younger patients face many challenges throughout their cancer treatment and survivorship. Obstacles faced by EOCRC patients need to be recognized upon diagnosis and addressed promptly. These young patients have a significant unmet need, spurring the emergence of comprehensive young adult cancer centers across the United States.
