Student scholar showcase abstract
During the fall of 2017 I did an internship at an animal hospital. While interning accumulated a wealth of knowledge not only about the tests performed but also about animal care itself. One of my primary duties was helping with surgeries. I would clean and fetch tools as well as monitoring leads in some cases. My other duties included preparing blood samples, running tests and interacting with customers to help answer their questions. After my internship, I felt that I had gained a wealth of knowledge regarding animal health care. I realized that there is more to the animal care world that I had thought. My goal with this poster is to educate the public on the various running’s of an animal care facility
