Abstract

This presentation will cover a fiction, non-fiction, and poetry piece that I have written with themes of nature writing. The first piece will be my non-fiction piece "On the Death of a Corpse," and the next will be the poem "what good is my heart." Finally, I will present an excerpt from my short story "A Hearty Breakfast." I will discuss these pieces, as well as the process of writing them, and now they relate to nature writing. Additionally, I will use the presentation to correct misconceptions about nature writing.
