Abstract
Electrical control is essential for large companies and industries. The systems used to power an industry or company can be both complex and large. In order to ensure the safety of the inhabitants and the equipment certain safety precautions must be introduced. These precautions begin with knowing what the particular electrical system looks like and how it flows. This has been my focus for my internship. This process mainly is made up of creating data sheets for each component in a system so that my company can determine the amount of energy put out if any components fail. The other part of my focus has been to clean up drawings of fire alarm systems for various areas, such as Longwood College, and remaking them so that they flow correctly. This is an essential step towards the overall goal of keeping people and equipment safe.
