Abstract

Children possess various attributes that make them unique, but research has proven that all students have similar developmental capabilities. Methodologies have been discovered that document how children develop, and although educational philosophies may not be universally accepted by educators, understanding and studying theories provide helpful information. Join us for a group discussion and demonstration that focuses on integrating the methodology of Maria Montessori into preschool and elementary school classrooms. Three interactive lessons plans and activities form the basis of this session. Discover new strategies and ways that you can empower all of your students.
