Abstract
This research study assessed the differences in Vo2 peak in participants of varying age groups with and without a history of COVID-19. The study determined if there was a relationship between lower Vo2 peaks and COVID-19 due to respiratory damage from the virus. To measure the Vo2 peak participants were connected to a metabolic cart while walking on a treadmill using the Balke-Ware treadmill protocol. This research could be used to help those who are still suffering from the long-term effects of COVID-19 and to assess their future lifestyle and medical treatments.
