Abstract
Gambling is an activity that is directly affiliated with criminal activity. Although gambling can be portrayed in many different ways, there is a correlation between gambling and the criminal activity that it can influence. Gambling Laws have been divided into three categories. The categories are based on the severity of the state laws. I will then analyze how each tier system effects the arrest rates of adult whites, adult blacks, adult Indians, and adult Asians. This we show whether the severity of state gambling laws effects different demographics in different ways.
