Abstract

Adolescents in a secondary educational setting are confronted with life-altering decisions. These decisions are primarily regarding their future and how they will succeed post-graduation. As counselors are aware, students deal with environmental factors that positively or negatively impact their mental health on a daily basis. We can prepare adolescents for challenges they may face by introducing coping mechanisms and stress-reduction strategies.
