Abstract
Stepping into the real-life application of being an educator, this internship with Claytor Nature Center opened my eyes to the many opportunities of environmental education. Through the five months spent as an intern, I improved upon my lesson plan writing, communication with educators, and created fun and objective filled field trips. This opportunity was a great experience and prepared me for a future full time job in this field.
