About This Journal
Lynchburg JMS is a peer-reviewed clinical journal supported by the University of Lynchburg, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Doctor of Medical Science program, and the Knight-Capron Library. The mission of the JMS is to support the ongoing education and advancement of physician associates/assistants (PAs) and other healthcare professionals by publishing current information and research on clinical, health policy, and professional issues. The journal focuses on doctoral-trained PAs and encourages the submission of doctoral-level projects from other doctoral health professions programs, with a focus on medicine and health science.
Published quarterly, JMS digital platform may include:
- Clinical review articles
- Case reports
- Original health services research
- Articles on issues of professional interest to PAs and other healthcare professionals
