About This Journal

Lynchburg JMS is a peer-reviewed clinical journal supported by the University of Lynchburg, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Doctor of Medical Science program and the Knight-Capron Library. The mission of the JMS is to support the ongoing education and advancement of physician associates/assistants (PAs) and other healthcare professionals by publishing current information and research on clinical, health policy, and professional issues. The journal focuses on doctoral trained PAs and encourages submission of doctoral-level projects from other doctoral health professions programs.

Published quarterly, JMS digital platform may include:

  • Clinical review articles
  • Case reports
  • Original health services research
  • Articles on issues of professional interest to PAs and other healthcare professionals

JMS will be available on https://digitalshowcase.lynchburg.edu/jms/, where archival issues and online content will be available. The website will include links to a range of online resources useful to authors. Instructions for authors will be found on the website.
