Abstract

Research suggests that region of the county and urbanisms are related to court- ordered adult sentences. This research is designed to explore the possibility of this discrepancy within the juvenile setting. The sample utilized in this project is compromised of cases obtained from a local detention center. In particular this research will attempt to explore the relationship between court and jurisdiction and juvenile sentence length.
