Abstract
Human trafficking is affecting countries all over the globe. Research suggest that source countries of human trafficking are those that have high levels of poverty, which provides an environment of vulnerability for children. For clarity, child vulnerability in this research is operationalized as child soldering. The research design for this project is retrospective with data collected from the CIA World Factbook and the Department of State’s Human Trafficking in Persons Report. Results of this research may help to determine countries that are vulnerable for the trafficking of children.
