Abstract
America is considered to have one of the most advanced healthcare systems in the world, but it is a luxury that very few can afford. Argentina, although a third world country, is considered to have the most advanced healthcare in South America, and has treatments that are available to everyone for free, not just citizens. The purpose of this thesis is to argue if America would ever be capable of adopting a socialistic healthcare method which allows for more universal practices. By heavily taxing incomes above a certain threshold, and increasing taxes on all domestic and foreign companies, the implication of more socialistic healthcare practices can be attainable. Not only will this be a monetary reformation, but it will be a social reformation as the American public will have to trust the government with their medicine instead of private sectors.
