Abstract
This thesis investigates the relationship between personality types and organizational culture as measured by job satisfaction. By using questionnaires, the Big-Five Personality Dimensions, and secondary research I will examine intricacies of the person-organization fit. Employee turnover harms an organization financially, as the costs of hiring an employee from recruitment to the recruitment of a replacement summate to thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. This information would be meaningful by serving as an extra level of screening during the hiring process to acquire the best candidates who will be the most satisfied with their jobs, ultimately decreasing employee turnover and benefiting both the employee and the company. I will examine the unique work environments, such as Google, compared to more reserved environments to determine
