Abstract

For the Student Scholar Showcase, I am sharing my internship experience at Community Funeral Home during the 2022 spring semester. At the funeral home, I assist the embalmer by cleaning and prepping the morgue, and prepping the deceased remains for embalming. I also help in the office by filing funeral service information. My experience at Community Funeral Home has been intriguing and opened my eyes to the funeral service business. I hope my experience will enlighten those interested in mortuary science or who do not know much about the profession.
