Abstract
In a small town in Virginia (Bassett, VA) I completed an internship with Bassett Funeral Service. As an intern there, our primary goal is to support someone on the worst day, which is mourning a loved one. The duties of this internship included washing and preparing a body for an official view, as well as removing a loved one’s corpse. If asked, our devoted team would perform an appropriate and formal service to honor the life of the loved one when the time came, and service arrangements had been made. I will carry the skills and duties I acquired from this experience and will value commitment, accountability, and placing your life on hold to ensure that someone else is being cared for properly, throughout my life.
