Abstract
Child Physical Abuse is a pervasive problem happening around us that affects millions of children worldwide, leaving physical and psychological scars on children. While the causes of child abuse can vary. Research has consistently shown a strong connection between poverty and the increase of child physical abuse. Understanding the connection of poverty and child physical abuse is important for developing effective prevention and intervention strategies to protect vulnerable children. In this research study, I explored the relationship between poverty and child physical abuse, examining the underlying factors that contribute to this connection and highlighting the importance of addressing socioeconomic disparities in child welfare efforts.
